Marcel Rapp, former Holstein Kiel coach, is set to make a comeback at St. Pauli, with the Kiezkicker having parted ways with Alexander Blessin. Rapp, the 47-year-old Pforzheimer, was the head coach of the KSV from 2020 to 2024 and led the team to promotion to the Bundesliga in 2024. However, he had to lead the Störche back to relegation the following year. In February of this year, Rapp was released by the KSV and took over Tim Walter at the Störche. Rapp is currently without a contract and would be free to join St. Pauli. According to a report by the Hamburger Morgenpost, Christian Eichner, the former KSC coach, is also a hot candidate for the Blessin succession at the Boys in Brown.
