Holstein Kiel has extended the contract of its coach Tim Walter for another year. The 50-year-old coach took over the position from Marcel Rapp in February and led the team to safety.

The cooperation between Holstein Kiel and Tim Walter was seen as a smart solution. After the successful second half of the season with a comfortable 12th place in the table, Kiel is looking up again.

Managing Director Olaf Rebbe said: „We have discussed and developed our goals and ideas for the upcoming season in an intensive exchange and determined what prerequisites must be given for this.“

Holstein Kiel is currently in 12th place in the 2. Bundesliga with 41 points from 34 games. The team has scored 44 goals and conceded 48 goals in this season.

The future with Tim Walter
